I had the privilege of working on a number of key art pieces for Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister. These were made in Unreal and are featured prominently on the games Oculus and Steam store pages plus the official Twitter and Facebook page.
It was my job to stage, light and capture the various shots in Unreal - in accordance with the brief. I had access to various in game assets which had to be pulled together, set up in Unreal and posed for the required shots (characters posed using Maya). My client (Other Things) also acted as intermediary between myself and the game developer (Pixel Toys) but ultimately Games Workshop had the final say.
I’ve included the ‘raw’ Unreal renders so you can see what these looked like before I passed them on for post production and branding -turn-around was quick and the client noted my renders surpassed expectations.
Had fun with this one and really proud to have been involved in such an awesome IP!
