I was given a brief to create a modular asset kit which could be used to build mix and match walkway structures in any configuration. Although it had to resemble the real world counterpart shown in the supplied reference, the main focus wasn’t on aesthetics but to be functional, highly optimised, cohesive and properly prepared. It also had to work within a 1m grid, comprise of 10 components (max) and utilise a single PBR trim sheet - I channel packed the maps for extra optimization. The final result was prepared for Unity URP.
